My record has been broken and I expect it will happen again in the coming weeks.?
Didn't have a chance to buy gas until the lite came on yesterday...

I feel your pain. Just a heads up I found gas yesterday at Jones and Smoke Ranch for $1.81. Its sad that $1.81 is cheap but compared to $1.95  (n)all arround town it might be worth driving a little out of the way.
 
I have budgeted $1000 just for gas when I am home and drive to TX/OK.

Sorry guys, bit of a brain fart, thats $2.81 vs. $2.95

We made a trip to San Diego last weekend and it was $3.45 :mad:  thats just insane!!!

I'm sure were not too far off.. Jumped about $0.05 in the last couple of days!  :E: I think I'm gonna fill up today!  :eek:
 
Last night I stopped at $80 because I could not take the bleeding anymore..  :E:
$2.91 a gallon.....
Did not even put it all the way to the full mark... :9:

It is highway robbery I tell you.... :eek:

Again paying right at 3 per gallon, now mind you I buy gas on post (Tax free) but the problem is that it is figured on the antioal average, which includes taxes for all you guys. So I wind up giving AAFES free money. I should be paying .75 cent less or more depending on the taxes from each state.? :E: That is robbery.

Either way it goes, I will not give up the AVA.

i drove around on Monday to look for cheap gas, $2.95, was the best.  This week it will be $3.25.  That may break the $100 mark.  Can't wait.

i think the pump shuts off at $75 to stop us from going postal once it "fills up"... do this math...

37 gallon tank... @ $3.25/gallon (cheapest i've found) then factor in 8mpg... what does that equal?

i must REALLY luv our Avalanche :love:  :B:

Some of our pumps shut off at $50, youd think theres a f-ing hurricane coming or somethin, its ridiculous, I wonder how long we will all tolerate this kind of crap.  Its got me looking at the Tahoe hybrid thats coming out in the fall. :E:
 
I've had a couple of $100.00 fills... Painful  :E:

I normally put in $50.00 in my 05 and right now that runs me for 1 week doing normal day to day back and forth to work and normal errands driving ... the Mrs uses about 40.00 in her 03...

We're watching our driving necessities pretty close.... We're staying home a lot more than we used to...
That's actually become a good thing... I've been enjoying the break from so many extra activities...

As prices continue to increase I guess our habits change or we pay the difference.
 
I've been up to $103 on my AV. But I don't mind too much as I usually drive my Jetta TDI Diesel that gets 45 mpg. AV gets weekend play. The best of both worlds.
