Broken Passenger Side Mirror Defroster

We just got our first frost a couple weeks ago here in Michiana. I found out that my passenger side mirror defroster doesn't heat any more . Anyone else have this problem? How do I check the cable connections ? Where are the connections? Thanks if anyone can help me out.

If you have an 02 and your mirror has a crack like this, you'll need a new mirror. You can get just the mirror but sometimes the dealer replaces the whole mirror assembly $$$$. If your out of warranty buy just the mirror. A number of us have had this problem, do a search on replacing the mirror. Now if you got time and cash upgrade to turn-signal mirrors, that is here somewhere also....

I also had a problem with my passenger side mirror not defrosting. I took it to my dealer and they had to order a new mirror. They then had to paint it (it comes up-painted). The mirror works fine now, but it now has a paint flake!!!!!!!!!!
