Does anyone have the bugflectorII and billet grille combo?? I wondering if the bugflector will interfere with the bille grille where the hood and grille come really close to meeting. Anyone have pictures of there setup? Thanks.

i have a bug shield and billet grill. unfortunately they are not both installed. however, i did install each one myself. i think the billet grill installation takes away the gap left between the existing grill and hood. with the bugshield installed i would imagine this would cause damage to the shield. also the slamming of the hood against the grill could be detrimental to it's longevity as well. just my .02.

I have the C.W. Billet Grille and the SS bugshield, they were both a pain in my a$$ to install :8:, but they turned out great (y). I have not had any trouble with them, they fit together pretty nice, so I don't think that it would be a problem for other shields.

Just beware, the bugs are horrible, and last I checked my billet was filled with dead bugs as well as my SS shield :8: :6:.

I have the Street Scene grill. The grill was a real pain to install. It requires you to reroute your hood release that is behind the Bowtie.

I will not be able to install a bug shield. There is no room unless I can somehow reengineer the Grill by cutting it. You would have to seethe grill in order to understand what I mean.

I just installed my stull billet overlay grill and so far so good.

I have the lund bugshield. If you buy one, some people sell them missing one bar on the top.

I have one of the billet grills, but did not order it special for a bugshield. It won't fit. Make a long story short, I have the bugflector II for sale in the appropriate forum.

Thanks for your reply guys. The consensus is that they are not a good combo. There's a auction on EBAY that sells billet grilles with an option for on missing bar to acomodate for a bug shield as FSYGUY said. I might give this a try.
MADMASON...I dig your grille. I wanna keep my bug shield to protect the hood. Thanks again.

Anyone else with both? I too would love to buy a grille but will not give up the GM hood protector. I am to worried that flying debris will forever flaw the paint.

I have the CW billet grill with the GM bug deflector from GM parts direct and have no problems with fit.

I have the GM bugshield and the CW billet grille - found them both extremely easy to install and they do not interfere with one another in the least. Here is a pic
