Ahhhhhh...... A nice Friday out to lunch with a co-worker.
On the way back stop at a light. Sitting there for a little while, and then suddenly......Bump.......... I stop mid sentence to by buddy and say. "Did somebody just hit us" He says "Yea I think so".
Get out........and sure enough there is a little rusted out Honda.............with some poor guy looking all pathetic and saying "Sorry".
Look at my AV rear bumper.........at first glance think Cool no problem. Then on closer inspection notice some scratches some kinda deep in the lower left plastic of the bumber.
Rub the dirt off and it looks a little better. Probably should have gotten his name and info..........but didn't. too late now.
Now to fix or not to fix?
Not sure it's worth messing with...........think the only way to fix is to replace the whole rear bumper.
I'm not sure it's worth that..............just a real annoyance. Probably bothers me more just cause it still feels new. Not so sure that you would notice if you were not looking for it.
Just for kicks any body have any idea what a replacement bumper costs for the AV. Know I don't want to pay for this myself..........but just hate to take the chance something else will get messed up if I turn this in to get fixed.
Knew I should have let my wife drive it today!
