Busted Bolster

[RV8Pilot]

My left bolster's busted. Won't inflate. Dealer says they have to take the car to an upholstery place since the leather has to be re-sewn after the repair

Is there anything I should look for...connector loose, fuse, etc.? I would like to try all the simple repairs before I let them violate my bolster
