Aries is 100% correct - Royal Caribbean is a fantastic cruise line. I've been on a number and will not go on anything but RC.

Wish i could join you - wifey's a teacher so she'll be working then.....

We're planning on going in July.

I've recently booked a southern caribbean cruise for Oct. but hmmm... I might be able to pull off two in one year ;) Can you get some details as far as price points and destinations?

btw, I made it sticky for ya :) Do you want to move this into the national gtg area so more folks might see it?

Ok here we go!!!!

Date: September 5th 2004

Ports of Call: Leaving from Miami
DAY PORT OF CALL ARRIVE DEPART

TUESDAY SAN JUAN, 2:00AM 8:00PM
WEDNESDAY PHILIPSBURG 9:00AM 6:00PM

Price: I Have 20 Cabbins set aside right now, the more we add, the cheaper it gets. This price is for the first and second person in the cabbin. Any more persons per cabbin are cheaper...
PRICE PER PERSON PER CABIN including taxes
$689.15 Inside Room - $879.00 Outside Room - $1,029.15 Balconey Room

I need a basic idea of who will really be interested in this by this coming Friday the 21st. Just so I can lock the 20 cabbins down. You don't have to commit yet but, I just need a ballpark number of cabbins needed...

For finale booking You will need to put about $150 per person down to book , then the rest would be due a few weeks before the cruise date...

Is there parking for our AV's

That can be handeled a few ways... If coming from Florida, there is a beautifull Bus from a company called Cruise Connection that will take you from most areas right to the port of Miami. Thats how me and my family will go from Daytona. You could also fly, then taxi/bus from the Airport. Or Yes, you could drive your AV down and park it there for like $20 a day. I WILL not leave my AV in Miami and would not recomend anyone else does that either...

I will have the Bus pricing for you later today...

Uh, not sure about this...the last time we did a cruise, it was on the same week. September 11,2001...stranded in the Bahamas :p We were also stuck on the boat awhile longer, so we brought back a " Little Suveneir".....maybe bad karma to go on a cruise over this exact same time of year

For Bus pricing and to see if they are available from your area, go to: www.cruise-connection.com

Here is the booking info you will need:
SHIP NAME: Explorer of the Seas ROYAL CARIBBEAN CRUISE LINES.
PORT LEAVING FROM: Miami, Florida
DEPARTURE DATE: September 5, 2004 SUNDAY
RETURN DATE: September 12, 2004 SUNDAY

If you book on-line it is CHEAPER then going through their office. YOU MUST BOOK YOUR CRUISE BUS TRANSPORTAION AT LEAST 8 DAYS PRIOR TO YOUR SAILING DATE. I strongly suggest at least two or three weeks or more before to make sure that you are on a bus.

For more info call 1-800-226-5055 - CRUISE CONNECTIONS
