up bright and early, we met at the Starbucks and prepared for the long drive ahead

after a unscheduled stop outside of Reno we hit the Nevada desert

more of the beautiful Nevada desert

we stopped in the oasis of Lovelock, Nv for some gas and Mickey D's

I Chnge had the lead
soon we encountered the first of many fires

this one wasn't to bad compared to what lay ahead

a call came across the radio "head toward the light" 
making sure everyone got the message

saw some interesting rock formations
I tried to shake him, but IB Mike was still tailing me

uh oh, another fire

 

[m02redl]

they were everywhere 

 

[m02redl]

it looked ominous on the horizon, but we continued on

seemed like they'd never stop

 

[m02redl]

unfortunately they kept getting bigger the farther we went along

more smoke

cough, cough
then we encountered the orange traffic barrels, I don't know who is selling these, but they have to be rich as we must have seen a million of them

nope, those aren't smoke signals 
entering the great Salt lake

you guessed it, more smoke

the fires in Utah were really bad

they didn't scare I CHNGE though, he's got that cool black chrome extinguisher

the devastation turn to beauty finally
