I saw this artical on a forum for spy shots and stuff. I like how they mention that the unibody construction is a first for trucks, isnt our truck a unibody? Meaning no seperate bed? Anyway, this think looks like a mini Avalanche.

linky thingy

fixed linky thingy

Unibody means no separate frame, ours is still a body on frame truck.
The unibody frame is more or less heavy sheetmetal rocker panels on the bottom from the firewall back with an engine cradle in front on most cars, minivans etc.

The little thing is kinda cute. Now where have I seen something like that before? ??? I KNOW I have seen SOMETHING that looks like it. I just can't remember where or when. :E: :E: :E:

They ( I've always wondered just who "THEY" is. Are?) say that imitation is the best form of flattery. :p

I wish the exaust setup made it to production from the concept. The exaust pipes came out where our steps are in the rear bumper.. looked kinda cool. Would have just went to the dealership and order the parts...

jt2500,

This is a direct rip off of the AV. I'd like to see the specs on it to see if features match or come close. The power train - probably not even close to the 5.3L Vortech - no to mention the 8.1L Vortech.

You might consider this Honda SUT, an Avalanche knock-off that is an anemic little brother from a different fathers that will forever be over shadowed by its bigger sibling. Just my take on it.

All we have to do is park beside one to do that I'm sure.

It looks like my little AV model. It's kinda sweet. for the days you don't the the 8.1, you can get 30 mpg. and still bang it around. Looks kinda fun.

I cant wait to park next to one! that will be great, same feeling when i park next to a sport trac or some other Found On The Road Dead truck. The envy pours out of their eyes, sometimes it looks like its hard for them to look, like they are fighting the urge to look... funny. My wife always says, everyone looks at your truck!

I think even Honda recognizes that they are copying the vehicle. Hence the discarded names Rockline and Ridgeline... to close to Avalanche for comfort? I mean heck... they copied almost everything else off the vehicle, why give it away with mimicking the name too?

Isn't a Unibody easier to total in an accident? A hard hit on any side of the vehicle would be an expensive fix. I don't know if i'd like the unibody idea....

It's hard to be humble when you own an Av!!

This thing has a tranverse-mounted engine and trans, it's front wheel drive, just like the Odyssey, Pilot, and Acura MDX, all four of these vehicles share the same powertrain and chassis, it's no theat to the AV whatsoever!!!!!! The AV rules :B:

WOW I have been waiting for something to trade my AV in for....

....still waiting for the diesel quadra steer AV.
