I have often wondered what the ratio of cars stolen (of any given model) are to the number made. I wonder what that list would look like...

 I knew that Honda's made up a big part of the list but I had no idea they were 3/4 of it....man that's bad... ???

From what I understand, the Hondas use a lot of the same parts from one year to the next. Pretty much all of them are stolen and cut up for parts.

That really bites that there's 3 Chevy pickups in the top 25, but fortunately (for me (I hope)) they're 4x2's.

I'm with Spork; where's the list with the number sold vs. number stolen?

I always find the 94 Chevy 4x2 c1500 a mystery. I just sold mine before I bought the AV and it was a very good, reliable truck but the interior was dated and the 4.3L was 165 hp...nothing to get too excited about. I think maybe I sold a 'classic' ;) Anybody know why this truck keeps showing up on the 10 most wanted list?

This list reads like the "top 10 sold" list....thus the reason these are being stolen. I'm not sure that's what they mean by "genuine replacement parts".
