Stopped at a Chevron this weekend and a guy in an older Dodge pulled up behind me. He eyed the Av for a while, then says, "You change a lot?" I responded with my usual brilliant and witty repartee "Huh?" "You know," he said, pointing at the truck, "Um...Change?"
It only takes a little while for that to sink into my thick skull. "Heck yeah," I said, (How else am I gonna check for leaks? Just kidding).
I called him over and proceeded to do the full demo right there at the gas station. Dropped the midgate, pulled the back window, showed off the storage in the side walls, the works.
Put it back together and left him standing there scratching his haed and staring at his truck.
I wanted to tell him that www.uglyolddodgefanclub.com does not appear to exist and point him to this site, but it just seemed kind of mean.
Anyway, it felt so good to show off my baby I thought I'd share.
