Chevrolet Motor Division. I'm your customer and.....

I'm tired of "working through" the "service 4WD" issue with my 6-month-old Avalanche. Please have your engineers work some overtime until it is resolved so that I won't have to go through the Lemon Law process which would likely forever tarnish my love for :B: (trucks, that is).

Thank you.

Please send your support to our club. This Club has supported and encouraged sales of your Avalanche and so many mods to it (some of which even include GM products). We have made your vehicle truly fun so please recognize us and support us.

I would like to see color-keyed non-textured cladding as an option on the Avalanche (not with the front facia of a Silverado).

I would also like to see various engine options availible such as the 6.0L and a Duramax Diesel.

Chevrolet Motor Division. I'm your customer and.....

my only complaint is that I don't have enough time to put even more miles on my AV.

David

...Duramax 6.0L Diesel - PLEASE!
...Vortex 6.0L V-8 - PLEASE!
...no heated seats in the '04? What are you thinking!
...colored keyed cladding to match the netural interior color.
...more durable rear bumper when you have cladding.
...an option for HID lighting.
...marker lamps on the roof rack just like the Trailblazer.
...we know you're beholden to OnStar, but how about a real navigation system, ehhhh?
...two words - power antenna.
...a bug shield that doesn't make the driver's mirror shake.
...more durable rear bumper when you have cladding.
...a light under the hood - come on man!
...a switch to turn the cargo lamps on and off in the cargo area.
...a 12V receptical in the cargo area.
...more durable rear bumper when you have cladding.
...bring back yellow! Bring back Sage Green! Did I mention bring back yellow?
...meatier skid shields for the Z-71 package.
...how about a CAFCNA edition Avalanche.
...more durable rear bumper when you have cladding.
...back up lights that actually light something up.

If you did all that, and made the rear bumper better - it would be PERFECT.

I hope they don't listen to this one, then I'll have to buy another AV

Oh, and I'd like to see a better factory warranty. Show the public that you believe in your product. I mean if Dodge can have a 7/70 why can't GM?

Power rear window
Either a split midgate, or 2 pass-thru hatches
Supercharger option (an SS AV)
Less plastic inside
Floor shifter (w/manual and auto features)
Thicker door trim (so I can rest my arm on the window ledge)
More engine choices
Color-coded cladding
Spare wheel and tire that matches the other 4
Color-coded power bar
Drop the ATV tread marks on the bed mat, make it smooth

Oops...forgot the most important one...
Me...as a Chevy Avalanche Test Owner...email me GM..I'd like to talk to you.
;D

I have to second this motion... I dont think I could live with myself if there were a CAFCNA Edition and I didn't have it.

Im your customer and......

I just want to say thank you for creating the Avalanche and giving "some" local dealerships the leadway to support us, befriend us, and help us grow our local clubs.

Thank you,

Kevin
aka Wiki

PS. Can you give me a supercharger ;)

I definitely agree with a longer warranty. Chrysler can offer 7/70, and Hyundai offers 10 year warranties on their products (I know they do not sell real trucks, but its the principle). Why are we still stuck with 3 years? I am sure you love selling extended warranties, but we paid enough for the truck in the first place! (well the ones that bought before the huge rebates :6: )

The underhood light never should have gone away.

-edited for typo..

The only thing about them offering a CAFCNA edition AV is what would we have left to MOD on it? Because a CAFCNA edition would have one of every mod that we all have done to our trucks throught the glory of this site and people. Oh and then make it still around $35K >:D

And a 7/70 warranty like Mark said course mine would be outta warranty now anyway

My 04 leather has butt warmers....just no convenience lights. Get some real customer service reps! Ones that will return calls within a week, not 3!

Thanks for the heads up. This is not incidated over at GM Buy Power (which shows you can only get sport leather too) YIKES!

- STOP DECONTENTING THE AV, MORE AND MORE, EACH MODEL YEAR!!!!

- Power rear window

- Underhood light. Gimme a break. This is a cheapo item to delete.

- reinstate the tranny cooler and temp gauge for the Z71 package.

- a repeat Av-buyer discount. I am on my 2nd Av. I will consider buying a 3rd when it's trade-in time, providing it makes sense to do so. My wife might also consider buying an Av for herself, if there was a multi-Av family discount.

- cargo area lamp switch

- 12V cargo area power

You got a tranny temp gauge with the Z-71? They dropped the cooler? The BASTARDS!

did anybody mention the remote tailgate lock so I don't have to cut the truck off, go to the back, unlock tailgate, load/unload my stuff, lock tailgate, then re-start truck.

Oh, almost forgot the whole process of cutting on/off the bed lights if its dark. Such a small thing but so incredibly inconvenient. At least maybe throw this in in an option package????

--- Upgrade 1500 to the 4L65E Tranny
--- Upgrade the motor to the EXT 6.0 HO (345HP)
--- Give us the Back-Up sensors that the EXT Has
--- Color Keyed Cladding
--- Trans Temp Gauge in all models
--- 120 MPH Speedo
--- Bigger 3rd brake light
--- Delete the 3.73 Gear Ratio Option on 1500 (4.10 only)
--- Engineer a Manual or Automatic Cooling Fan disengagement based on speed to improve mileage
--- We want dual Tanks to balance out the Avalanche
--- Give us a Real Trailer Hitch that is rated for the truck's max wt
--- Get rid of the bed mat and coat the bed ( I have sliced my fingers and cuticles off twice cleaning under the midgate moulding in back with mat removed ... Bad design... Big liability) ... LOL
--- Offer a cargo sub-floor for when the rear seats are down
--- Re-design the stupid spring clips that hold the cladding to the assist steps
--- Curve the tops of the wheelwells
--- Give us some optional 20" wheels ... Dodge does on the Laramie
--- We want Michelins not Crap-Years (the caddys are worthy enough)
--- Offer a manual floor shift on 4x4 with bench seat
--- Give us a cassette in the little useless cubby in the console

Uhhh, that's all ...
