Gotta love a better ratio.  I just am not that concerned about the small amount of gas to be lost.

I'm gunning for a 4.10.  My Silverado has the 3.73, but it's rated to tow over 8k with this ratio.  The Av's are rated a few hundred less with the same ratio, so to get the same I need to go lower.  Yet another reason I may regret not waiting to see about the availability of the 6.0l or 6 speed auto..
