Chrome Plated Z71 Rims ????

I was wondering if anyone had their Z71/66 rims chrome plated and if so could you post a pic. so I could see how they look. I was going to either get 2003 chrome Escalade or Denali rims, but I ran across a wheel/rim shop here in NJ that does chrome plating.........decisions,decisions.
Also, if done, how long will the chrome finish hold up, I would imagine the factory finish would be better.

Check out Ebay, they have a set of chrome plated Z71 rims for sale there right now. I'm not sure if I like them or the chrome plated Escalade rims better!

you can find nice 20 inch versions of the Denali wheel at AAA Rims. while there click on monthly specials, Chevy/GMC, then look for Denali wheel images in 20 inch size. sweet, right? see that AV? :B:

that one is not working. once on the page with wheels scroll down near the bottom of the page and look for "SSR" wheels on the right. :B:

I'd like to stick to a 17" rim size so I could use my existing tires.......saw some nice Denali rims on ebay priced fair, but does polished vs. chrome look the same? or are they the same thing?

Chroming aluminum rims at a plating shop would be something you probably do not want to get involved with. Here's a few important issues:

The price to do it.
The quality of plating aluminum at a shop, not at the factory.

It would be way cheaper to find something else Chromed by the factory making the rims.
