The cladding on the left rear passenger door is starting to loosen. The adhesive is failing. The dealer thinks I'm an idiot for wanting it repaired. Anyone else having problems with the cladding comming loose?

This is kinda funny! ?You're advising me on this project and I'm giving you advice on your oil... ?LOL.
Well then, what do you suggest to get rid of the bulging cladding syndrome? ?It looks terrible! ?I seriously doubt GM will replace my whole front bumper!
?My drill's plugged in!!! ?
WHHHRRRRRRR! ?![]()
If the cladding is pulling away from the body, it's as much a defect as if the paint were bubbling. The warranty covers the complete vehicle, and I'd expect the dealer to honor the warranty or I'd start making the rounds of the various consumer affairs agencies - GM, government, media, and private. You paid (or borrowed) something in the neighborhood of $30k for the Av, you shouldn't be shy about expecting it to be done right.AVYNUT said:However, I don't think they cover trim under warranty! They're gonna say, "iz normal."
AVYNUT said:? GOO... ?Is that the way your AV looked before painting? ?Have you ever seen one with all the cladding off![]()
