Clicking Noise from Gauges

I noticed a faint clicking sound coming from my gauges. It is real noticable when radio/Heater/Ac are off. I can really hear it when turning off the truck - clicks fast for about a second. I have had truck for year now and just noticed it - don't think it has always been like that. I spoke to dealer and he said that is normal sound of gauge drive motor and all GM trucks make it. Is he right. Could someone listen closely next time they turn off their trucks and let me know if they hear any noise from gauges.

I just started my AV a couple of times to see if I could duplicate the clicking sound. Sorry to say I couldn't hear it. Maybe you could ask the dealer to demonstrate that normal clicking sound on some of his AVs on the lot. You should get it checked out. Better safe than sorry

AFTER I changed the computer program with a HYPERTECH power programmer I noticed a VERY audible clicking from the instrument cluster. Of course I would have to de-install the program for servicing and the clicking disappears!
