No sweat on the picture - just keep inline images to max width of 500 pixels so the posts don't get too wide.

I have eyed this as well on my recent trips to Checker. It's about $20 for the 3-can kit. Not sure which color effect I'd go for on my black truck though... Ideas? ? ?

The one I went with was magenta/gold

Guess I'll have to go to the dealer to pick up an extra bowtie for the color-changing paint process. I'll probably go green-gold.

I got all excited thinking someone came up with a bow tie that had fiber optics that could change colors on the fly, like those artificial Xmas trees.

Here is the other view.
I looked at your webshots and was wondering why you had 3 pictures there. the 7 clips, the side and the next one. did you tear these apart to get to the bowtie?

Jamie, green-gold???? ?Are you a packer fan? ?:D:

Gotta go with purple an gold if you're in MN.

Thems feudin words! No Packer fan here. What would be ideal is a fade from gold to black. Then I'd be really happy.

FSUGUY, I did two bowties at once. My wife wanted hers done too. She has an '01 Tahoe. The pic of the front end torn all to heck and back...that's hers. You have to remove all that to get to the clips on the bowtie. ;)
I should have taken a picture of her face when she walked into the garage and seen half her truck on the floor >:D

BigRed, I used three can kit from Dupli-color called Mirage. I checked into DuPont, the only thing I could get was a quart  Have you seen the price of that stuff! couple hundred bone!

Does anyone know how much a bowtie cost from the dealer??
May need to get a gang of'em ;)

I have 3 bowties: indigo blue, stock covered with blue reflective tape (sometimes red), and Aztec red.

They cost b/w 15-19 bucks depending on dealer.

I painted mine black last summer. Now I may have to go and get another and paint it. Anyone know what color the ICE is.

Do you have a GM part number for replacement bowties?
