Comments Between The AV And The NEW H2 Or H2 SUT

I think the H2 is coming at the end of spring and wonder is it worth $50K.
The interior trims seem like it come from the GMC Envoy.
And the H2 SUT concept, wonder will they make one if Caddy got the EXT. Why compete in the same price cat.

P.S. Did anyone watch CSI last week? The Miami's CSI drive silver H2s!!! :p :p

The price difference buys a lot of gasoline and accessories. I would love to have an H2 for its off-road ability but realistically I will be on pavement and dirt roads far more than trails.

I did catch CSI and did notice the H2. If you notice it seems that GM has got some kind of advertising deal with them. Police cars are Impala and the CSI group seem to drive Tahoes and/or Suburbans. Maybe if we petition a bit we could see some AVs ;D

Does anyone know what the outcome was in the dispute between GM and Jeep regarding the front Grill assembly on the Hummer?....I haven't heard anything..but then again I wasn't keeping up with it.. :B:

The AV was in COMBAT MISSIONS!! and they actually use it on the show. Not like the Aztek on the Survior 1 series.
Now, can someone tell me how the Miami's PD can afford H2??? It is $50K each! Or any other PDs?

Well the idea behind it all is that the more exotic PDs get the more exotic cars -- Remember Miami Vice. How about Nash Bridges and the Cuda.... In reality when a PD does fly one of those vehicles for service they are usually confiscated from a drug bust or other similar source. Much like the 3 or 4 black and white Corvettes seen around the Las Vegas area or the 2 or 3 Lamborghinis seen around LA. They look cool and the PDs have a good means to show the crooks their appreciation for the new rides. ;D

Happy AVing everyone!

Land Rovers and Range Rovers look like dinosuars but people still spend lot for them. The H2 has a great off road system that does lots of cool things. GM better be very informative about the new Hummer or noone will spend $50K for a square Tahoe. I like the H2 but I've been researching it a lot and know somewhat about why it costs $50. They aren't going to build too many of them, they will only be sold at Hummer Dealerships to people who know what they are looking for. The new H2 dosen't even have a bow tie on it.

Why would someone choose the Caddy EXT over the H2? Any ideas? First off, I think the H2 is more stylish than the EXT. It has a greater purpose and is more novel looking.

I hate to admit it as the club President but I agree with ps - bang for the buck the H2 seems like a better deal than the Cadillac Escalade EXT - although they are TOTALLY different vehicles for different purposes - so it's all in your tastes.

H2 in sage green looks BAD ASS!
