Cool Emergency Tool

Picked one of these up at a tool show this weekend.
Searched it on the internet and found it for the same price $29.99 although I didn't pay shipping. I've seen simular products sell for much more.
SPEEDWAY SERIES CORDLESS AC CAR STARTER
It's pretty cool though. You can jump-start your car with it and it has a built-in air compressor. It re-charges both from AC or a DC cigarette light plug. It also has a built-in light and a cigarette DC outlet.
Good for when you play the radio too long with the motor off. ?My daughter has some friends that really need this.

FWIW, these things are a life saver. Very popular with us Porsche guys. The battery on the Porsche is located under the front hood near the windshield. the mechanism to open the hood is electric. So guess what happens when your battery dies?? can't pop the hood to boost the car. you have two options, flatbed or one of these gizmo's.

Sorry for the long Off-Topic rant but I have to agree with Okiesnake that this is a very cool thing to have indeed....

We use a trickle charger that operates off a solar panel .
Its supposed to keep the battery charged enough to start the vehicle.
The charger is plugged into the power outlet and has an indicator to show it is operating correctly .
So far it has worked very well.
