I have searched the existing threads but could not find a "how to" section.

I would like to remove my dashboard to tighten up the rattles :8: I have.

I have done this before in my other trucks but the Av dashboard appear more elusive to me. ???

Can anyone offer assistance on how th start the dashboard removal.?

Any and all replies will greatly be appreciated!

Thanks.

Phil

I don't know how much of the dash you are talking about but the bezel just pulls off. Put the tilt steering wheel all the way down, sit in the drivers seat, step on the brake, put the key in the ignition into the run position (engine off), drop into first gear, start pulling the dash either at the lower left corner, or open the ash tray and pull from the lower right corner, It just pops/pulls off. Set it on the passenger seat, put back into park, remove key.

This post should get you started. This will get the top of the dashboard off. I don't know how much more you will want to remove, that is as far as I've taken it.
