Does anyone know if the Denali XL lower trim will fit on a WBH? Here is a picture.

Door pieces would seem to me to be no issue. Rear wheel to door panel should also work. Front fender piece MIGHT but might not. Rear wheel to bumper panel would also be a MIGHT fit. Odds are they would though. Measurements of the sheet metal length between rear wheel and bumper would need to be done on both to help determine the possibility of the last piece.

Great thought, would actually look pretty darned good!

Hi,

That's a good question, I was thinking about doing a similar thing with the Suburban Z71 trim, flares and steps. I've gotten mixed responses from several parts experts, including a friend of mine, who is a GM parts manager.

If anyone has done this too, I'd love to see the results. I was also thinking about doing LPM or DGM on a DBM to make it look two-toned.

i just got out the AV brochure to compare lines with the Denali pic above. seems to me that it would work. the pics may be deceiving. maybe the two vehicles next to each other would prove otherwise. as it stands it looks like it could work.

I've been waiting for this to happen. Those of you who have seen other posts of mine with my WBH opinions may be tired of this one, but here goes (again): The WBH should have been released as a GMC with an available Denali trim level. :D

I aree with the GMC idea. I actually traded in an 02 GMC Sierra for my WBH. I think the GMC Denali treatment on the WBH would be awesome. I'm sure GM thinks it would be too close to the Escalade EXT. Don't get me wrong I love my WBH. I was very particluar to purshase one with no flare / moulding package then i installed flares that were painted to match, looks cleaner, a little classier, a little more in line with a GMC.

Everything should fit. The Av is based off of the Suburban/Yukon xl.

I like the idea of putting Z71 trim on it, I'm going to go out on the lot and check it out right now!

We need some place where we could do an exchange of front clips! :0: Maybe a Salvage Yard? If they had a GMC front clip, seems like there ought be more demand for our "Silverado" front clip.

Suburban Z71 lower bodyside "cladding" and nerf bars will fit on an Av...I know for sure, because mine has it (I negotiated it into the deal when I bought the truck). It fits perfectly, although since I didn't install it myself I don't know if they made any "adjustments" along the way. Based on this, you would think that the Denali trim would work also.
