Hi all,

I'm sure someone can fill in the blanks for me on this one.

I have been trying to figure out if the warnings and messages on the DIC are the same if you have the steering wheel controls or not. I don't have steering wheel controls, but hopefully can add them one day soon. I am not concerned about the economy, mileage readings, etc right now. I just wanted to know if the warnings that are listed in the owners manual are in all '03 Av's?

By the way it's been 2 months with my '03 Av and love it more and more each day!!!

You should get the same info. Although, someone with the steering wheel controls might be inclined to question the effectiveness of your DIC.

The convenience package w/ steering wheel controls and other goodies is really the only option that I kinda wish I had gotten, although I don't really know what I'm missing. It just wouldn't fit in the budget and I couldn't wait any longer for my Av.

So, can anyone confirm that I could get a portion of the features by simply swapping out my steering wheel at a later date? Is it a simple plug-and-play type of thing ie. the radio, DIC, computer are already set up for it? I'm sure it won't be cheap, but I'm just wondering.
