I know this is short notice and I am sorry for not planning better - BUT Sparky our famous modder from Alberta, Canada and Gandy's Whipple powered counterpart is in Houston, Jack and myself are meeting him at his hotel on Wednesday evening for dinner out - He is staying at the Holiday Inn next to Courtesy Chevrolet which is at 7777 Katy Freeway. We are meeting in the Lobby of the Hotel at 7:30 Wed July 23rd so if you want to meet a real live Canadian and eat some good food and visit call me at 713-301-4858 or just show up on time. All are welcome and it should be alot of fun.

Yep, I have a 6pm meeting but I am only .5 mile away. I will be done at 7 and over at the H I by 7:30. Hope it has a bar....

Hey, fella, y'all up for a great dinner of Spotted Owl - we are cooking it over an open pit that we burn old tires in - really gives it flavor >:D
 
Sounds like fun guys, but I cant travel that many k...sorry miles, in such a short time. Have a beer for me, a canadian beer, not that weak stuff that is brewed down there. >:D

It was nice to put faces to screen names, and to meet some REAL Texans.

It was a pleasure meeting you and I dont care what Jack says you are an all right guy! ;)

Food and conversation was great - Jack was in rare form!
I had a great time and am looking forward to your next visit - maybe I can advertise better next time and get a bigger turn out to meet a real live canadian! (y) ;) :) ;D
 
OK Bruno has the pics! - We are waiting Bruno ;D Enjoyed seeing you again Brian - BUT next time eat more of the desert as I am feeling very full right about now! :cautious:

Well, it was getting alot dark and my mini camera has a terrible flash but at least there is documented evidence that Sparky was in Houston!

You know its a 12 1/2 hours trip and it takes me 10 hours to get there. One more hour and I'd been there... ;)
