Someone  debited out of our account in Houston while we were on vaction in SD.
:E: This really really sucks we did not notice until we got home. They took about a grand out of our account..  We barely made it home.

I had that happen.. except the took $7,000. Someone hacked into Home Depot's merchant account and took our account number and my wife's pin number.

Sorry to hear that man. You'll get it back shortly.

I had $500 debited out of my account a couple of years ago and the bank had the money back in my account less than 24 hours after I notified them. Hope it is resolved soon.

They were taking it out by ATM $200 and $100 a day :mad: All the transactions were done here in Houston while we were gone to South Dakota.
 
Dang Roland.  That sux.  I'm sure that you'll get it straightened out but I'm equally sure that it will be a PITA to do.  :(

 
That does suck... Sounds like an inside job. Somebody knew that you were out of town and probably wouldn't notice.

That is what i was thinking someone who knew you were gonna be gone all week. Sorry to hear about it that sucks, sounds like 3 or 4 people had bad trips home. 2 broke down for sure and you got stolen from what a welcome home.

As of today the grand total is $1,814  :E:  The bank is refunding me all the money

That sucks, but I'm glad to hear that the bank is doing you right.  Hope they catch them.  Being that it was done through ATM's, it should be easy to get them.
 
That sux sorry to hear about it. I am glad the bank stepped up and is refunding the money.

???Too much work is an understatement,? We just quoted what we saw online then the bank gave us a claim number and said in less then 24 hours the money will be back in our account.? :eek: No questions asked???? Of course they cancelled cards and stuff but it seemed to easy? ??? :cuss:

Not satisfied I went to the POLICE? :cool:? The officer did a report on a Sticky Posted Pad gave me a claim number and then said "Have a Nice Day???"
I said aren't you going to get pictures from ATMs or something??? The officer said if the Bank did not question it then CASE IS CLOSED????

I'm glad it came out ok.  At least the crooks weren't as dumb as the ones that stole my money back when we lived in base housing.  They paid their phone and electric bill with my card.  :beating: Citibank cancelled my cards, re-issued them, sent me an afidvit to sign and filed all the charges for me.
