Does Volant intake void GM warranty???

I'm looking at getting a volant air intake however, I just recently extended my GM warranty.  I was wondering if I were to purchase a CAI such as a volant if it would void my warranty. Thanks

if you over oil the filter it can cause transmission problems, GM has a bulletin  advising the dealerships not to fix it.

someone from K&N posted on this site that they don't find that information to be true and they would help you fight the warranty company to pay for repairs

Welcome to the club.... The cases are few and far between where a dealer actually found fault in an after market addition..
