Absloutely folks, do drive safe. You'll find that the driving regulations in Ontario are for the most part identical to what you find inthe States. Here's a couple of things which may differ from where you are:

- right turns are permitted (unless a posted sign states otherwise) on a red light
- obviously you would yield to traffic proceeding with the green
- when approaching a school bus with lights flashing, you must stop in either direction
- unless otherwise posted, speed limits on city streets are usually 50kmph (approx 30mph)
- rural roads and secondary highways, speed limits, unless otherwise posted are 80kmph (50mph)
- just as a reference, where posted as 100kmph, that is approx 62mph
- this is about all that comes to mind

There is one other which is not in the handbook, if you see a SOM AV bearing Labrador plates, you should yield to avoid imposing confusion upon that driver ;D

Do they drive on the right side or left?? >:D
Well, driving on the right is probably the healthier choice to avoid oncomming traffic :7: ..... but driving to the left is permitted so long as you don't have a solid white line to your right

And don't drink and drive! DUI is considered a very serious offense in Canada, much more so than in the US.

In fact, I don't believe that visible open alcholic beverage containers are permitted in public, even when not driving.

What's the temps up there????
I'm here in Toronto right now and the temps are averaging in the high 50's low to mid 60's during the day and low to mid 50's at night.
Temp right now is 52 ;)

A balmy 65 F. Forcast is calling for a warming trend next week. Sunny Thursday, Friday, and Saturday with temps around 70F-80F. Look's like we are in for a nice weekend.

You are correct SS. Please make sure you bring some travel mugs or sealed containers to drink from. No open beer or liquor is allowed outside of residence, other than permitted licenced area's.

I found an online Niagara newspaper. Perhaps check this site during the week, as it'll show you the weather forecasts, amongst other local/regional news:

Nobody has to worry about me driving safe, my speed is limited to about 65mph, so while the rest of you speed racers out there are getting pulled over on I-90, I'll sail by at the state speed limit. ;D

-James.

Speed limit here is 70 MPH now so of course alot of people now do 85
