Was going thru the drive thru at McDonalds yesterday when the kid at the first window said...

" Man, you have the tightest truck ever!"

Well what could I say... "Thank you" of course I had a huge ear to ear grin ;D

At a Mc Donalds drive thru I had a snot nosed punk kid tell me mine was ugly last week. then he told me no offence man but it was too late. I had my feelings hurt :6:

I had the same experience a while back with a neighbor - he had been drinking and used many choice words to describe my truck. ?None of them nice.

What could I say - I have never seen him drive, so I figured he was striking out at what he couldn't have :) :) or do ?;D

Please do not tell Mr.Mcdonalds. But when I first bought my ruck over a year ago. I had been doing the change of a dollar thing ALOT.....
But the one time I did it that it really payed off was at a McDonalds.

The manager asked my to change for my food... SO I did and he gave me my order. Yes gave it to me....
and I have a nice size family.
Me
Wife
12 year old boy
09 year old boy
06 year old girl
03 year old girl
02 year old girl.
so add that up 4 big meals and 3 kids meals.. Yes about 23.00 free at the good old Mickey D's

I love this truck or SUV or truck you know...

Pete

I myself once said, why do they put that cladding on there? looks ugly. Now I am ordering a 2003 Avalanche.
Hmmm. :B:

SUPERMOBILE

My sister's redneck neighbors used to come out and tell me how ugly my truck was.... well, the second time they did that I decided I had enough, so I said very politely: "what does it matter to you, you can't afford one anyway" >:D

ROFL hehe thats funy i drove through a Bk drive through wit a trailer on the back and both wheels of the trailer were hittin the side of the curb i was very "tight"
hehe

The best is that you can look down into the drive through window and see everything that is going on. Very intimidating and I like it that way.

Tightest? ?I need a translation, please. ?Thought I'd never get old enough not to understand the lingo.

Here's a hint ;)

tight adj 1. very good, excellent; COOL, HIP. ("His new AV is tight.")

You can also use ... DA BOMB, PHAT, HOT etc. ;D

I had a Burger King person hand out the food to me once in my AV.. They weren't looking, but just kind of held it out the window..

After a few seconds, she looked out and then gave me a oh... duh... type grin, and then handed it UP to me...

That was pretty cool... I think she never had to reach that high up before!! I like being High!!! (no.. not that kind of High! ;D)

He probably drives a ricer. >:D

My Dad and brother both drive 2500 HD's and go out of their way to tell me how ugly my truck is. But I'm gradually winning them over.

After safely getting home a bunch of sheetrock and hardi-plank in the pouring rain without getting a drop of water on them....I won my Dad over. He went so far as to admit that if he didn't have to work out of his truck and have a glass rack in it all the time, he might consider a AV.

Tonight my brother was helping me Mod my AV and was commenting about how it would be fun to lower a AV and put Airbag suspension on it. I told him no way.... I like it just like it is. If it goes anywhere it goes up.

You should have told him his food was nasty and the only reason he has a job is that people like you who drive ugly trucks pay his salery! Then held up the line while you waited for the manager to explain his employee's rudeness! That would've fixed his little red wagon! >:D :B:
