I just changed my DLRs to the amber. I removed the 4157K bulbs and added 3157NA bulbs. All went fine (How many Av owners does it take to change a lightbulb). The weird thing I noticed is when I pulled out the old bulbs the socket and teh bulb itself appeared to be discolored as if from a great deal of heat. Is this common. something I should bring to the dealer's attention (after I put the originals back in)?)

This has been discused at length already. Check the Search button. But the short answer is Yes everyone had some discoloration....

Well, I replaced my DRL's with the 4157ALL's and easy as can be. Didn't notice any discoloration when changing but will check down the road to see if it is showing up.
I would think there might be more of a problem with replacing the fog light bulbs with ones that are way more high powered than came on the AV.
The amber DRL's do look fine though!
