On TrucksTV, Stacey installed some exhaust cutouts that used a guillotine gate type of cutout. I haven't been able to find any info on these. I've found the type with a butterfly valve but these seem to have seal problems.

Anyone know who makes the guillotine gate type?

Why don't you try to contact TrucksTV? I'm sure they would be more than happy to help you! (y)

Edit - checked for the website -

Here's the link I found:

http://truckstv.com/

Gives you the option to email them. I didn't find the exhaust cutouts in a quick run-through of the site.

Hope this helps!

Now that is an interesting concept. Does it do anything for back pressure?

Yes, it effectively eliminates most of it which can effect your off the line performance - that is one of the reasons why most of them hav 3 - 5 second open circuits so that they are opening up in your first 100 feet or there abouts - the gain is at the high end.

Thanks Guys,

That's what I was looking for. So friggin' expensive though. I guess it's better than spending two hundred and something for ones that don't work.

Anyone look at the exaust on performance boats....called captains choice......they come in electric, cable etc....

but the same principle.....it directs exhaust straight out the back above water....or it goes normal which is through prop.....

kinda cool.,...Not sure who makes em...maybe CORSA...or GAFRIGG....etc etc....
