Escense Festival AVALANCHES

I heard from my dealer friend that SEWELL chevy/cadillac in New orleans has several Escense festival avalanches for sale.....

They are loaded Z71 with DVD etc etc etc ....they are selling at normal cheap price plus additional 3K off since they are considered demo......some have 50 miles....

They include a large cool chevy bowtie sticker on front doors with the words CHEVY AVALANCHE....they can leave on or remove....

I am not near one to take pic as I just received the phone call.......

Sounds like it's probably the group of Chevy Avalanches that they got down there last year to pull all the floats in a parade. Seems like that was mentioned here on the board somewhere.

I emailed the sale rep yesterday, this is what I got back...

"WE HAVE 12 OF THESE 4X4'S ON THE GROUND,HOWEVER I AM WAITING FOR THEM TO BE INVOICED FROM GM. MSRP ON ALL ARE 42,592.00. THEY ARE Z71 WITH DVD,LEATHER. COLOR IS GRAY WITHOUT BODY HARDWARE. WITH REBATE THEY SHOULD SELL FOR ABOUT 10,000.00 OFF MSRP."

Doesn't seem that good of a deal to me for a demo I think thats right at or slightly below invoice which I believe you can get a new one for atm. I'm going to contact the sales rep again today and find out if it's worth my time to travel to New Orleans (I'm in SE Texas) to make a deal.

The one with lowest miles has 50 some are more....they are demos since Chevy brought them down here for a large music and heritage festival.....and had some stars and execs drive them while visiting.......then Chevy gives them to local dealers to sell....but Chevy lowers the invoice via a special rebate or something.........

SO these are super low mileage demos with special rebates or prices....so if you were looking at Sewell for a AVy if you bought one of these you would get extra discount...which I hear is around 3000.....
