Who's got em, what size, and what do you think?? (Ride quality, Comfort, Quietness, Handling, Tread Wear.......etc)

Thanks,

BB

never had a set of falkens, but had kumho's before.  pretty good time with good tread wear.  a buddy of mine had falken's and they looked really good.  I prefer the thread pattern on the falkens.  whats up BB..you holding it down in SC for me?

i have falkens on mine... i really dont have any complaints... i already drove more or less 6000 miles since i got them and they are still perfect... its pretty quiet (i drove 1000 miles in 2 days) and it grips pretty good even on rain... i havent tried kumho's though so i cant compare

jayteez....whats goin on man.? You know I'm not bigtymin like you but I'm trying to do a little sumptin.? Now you've got 24's on the AV, was the ride pretty stiff or did you still get a little cuscioning when you were riding along the raggedy streets of SC.? How are things going for you VA.? I'm supprise you haven't bought you a cadillac.

I've actually got a set of Falkens myself and I love the ride on these things.?  Compared to the Capitol Negotiators I had before which felt like I was riding on bricks, the Falkens feel like I'm in a Cadi-LAC.....

I want to upgrade to 22's with 45 series tires, but don't know if I'll get any rub.

I've ran Kumho, Pirelli and Falkens. My opinion Pirelli beats them all hands down. Pirellies are non-direction tires and so are the Falkens. This means, the tires can be rotated from front left to rear right etc... This will increase your tire life greatly!? Falkens thread wear is not so good. Pirellies handles great under rainy conditions.?

I have had the Falken's in the 285/50/20 and the 305/40/22. I have had the Toyo Proxess in the 305/40/22 and the Goodyear Eagle GTII's in the 285/50/20. I will say without a doubt that I will buy Falkens from here on out. I love them.

I HAVE HAD FALKEN AND KUMHO, FALKENS 255-45-17 & 275-40-17 ON MY (PREVIOUSLY OWNED) 96 MUSTANG GT & 91 THUNDERBIRD SC BOTH GREAT RIDE FOR SPORTY VEHICLES GREAT GRIP. EXCEPT WHEN WET   MAYBE TOO MUCH TORQUE  . AND 305-40-22 ON MY (PREVIOSLY OWNED) 04 YUKON GREAT RIDE! OVERALL THEY ARE BOTH GREAT TIRES!!!! EITHER WILL BE GREAT TIRES, IN MY OPINION IT WILL BE JUST A MATTER OF WHICH THREAD PATTERN YOU LIKE MOST.

I was between the Kumhos and the Pirelli Scorpion Zero Assimetricos...

I got the Pirellis because a local shop (Wholesale Wheel in Charleston) recommended them.  They also got good ratings on tirerack.  So far I have been really happy with them in all conditions (even snow  )

Also, I went with 305/40/22.  They only rub in full turn in reverse... and even then its barely rubbing at all.

You might be able to get away with 45 series tires with your WBH, but I'm not sure.

I have the Falkens. I paid an extra $100 for them over the Kumho's when i ordered the entire wheel and tire package online.  I was going to get the Pirelli tires but the thread didn't look as good.  I love the look of the Falkens and like someone mentioned before I love that fact that they can be rotated anyway you want.  They handle good but the ride is rough at times but I think that's because of the 22s period but they are quiet.  I have put about 15k miles on them and the thread still looks pretty good.  Overall I'm happy with them.
