up until the other day, I always used the chamois to dry my truck, after a wash job. I dont have a leaf blower yet, so I had the idea to use the sgueege i clean my windows with. Ive seen a squeege in the magazines and you know what it works real good .I get most of the water off first with the squeege, and chase the drops left with, the chamois....saves a few minutes!!

Get a california water blade....they are designed for it...softer surgical rubber which is less likely to mar the paint...

Be sure to "trickle rinse" your truck. If you've got a decent coat of wax you can use water to make drying much easier.

1. Remove any nozzle you might have on the end of the hose.
2. Turn the water on to a steady stream (no need to fully open the water valve)
3. Let the water cascade over the vehicle starting at the top and working down the windows and sides, front and end of the vehicle.

The water will "sheet" off and take most of the water with it. If you don't spatter the water, there will be far less water left behind and a lot less water drops on your paint to dry up.

Works like a charm especially when your vehicle has a fresh coat of wax. ;D

I love my Califorina water blade!! You can get them pretty cheap in Sams! I only takes about 10 minutes to use the blade it works great and is worth the money!

My only problem with the trickle rinse is the extra ue of water. Water is getting to be a concern in this area and others. A black Av is a pain but I stick with blade and cloth

Zimms,

I've got the turtle wax blade and the Calif blade. No comparison, spend the extra few bucks on the Calif.
