What happend with the ebay wheels? Are you out any money?

The original deal on Ebay was for the 22's. They where killer but the guy said that he was having trouble pulling the money out of the Paypal account. So I contacted Paypal, the told me to fill out a buyers complaint form since the money was actually transfered and it has been veriifed that he did recieve the money. I got my refund from the guy through Paypal. If he didn't he would have been black-flaged on Ebay and Paypal would have represented me to get the money and I would have to contact the Police and report Internet fraud. That's now a serious offense these days. So the guy wanted still do the transaction, but he wanted to send him a cashier check instead. Fat chance on that. So I got in touch with Mike at Discount Tire Direct (800)579-6789 X 359. He is in charge of the Ebay scratch and dent section. I got these wheels when they just listed. If it's listed on ebay, and there are no bids. You can get them directly from him and the auction is then closed. I can not find one thing wrong with these wheels except that they were mounted once before. My buddy with the Lighting got his as well from him. His wheels were used in a photoshoot and thay can not sell the wheels as new. If you guys are looking for a deal, you have to call them. I got $ 3,000 wheel and tires delivered for $ 2,190. I'm going to attach a close up of the wheels. The only thing is, is that the 305/50/20 Nitto 404 with the deep dish do rub on the front inner rear section of the fender well. There is no way I can lower the front of the truck, but I am going to lower the rear to level out the truck. My next mod is the cladding to be painted with the Diamond plate inserts and a New chip. Diablo is making chips for the GM and they are here in Boca Raton. I have access to a Dyno and they want to use my truck as a test bed. I got so many comment locally on the wheels its really makes the truck. I wish I could have 2 AVs. One a street machine, like mines is. And one (2500) all jacked up and made into a serious off-road evil machine with all the KC lights like the one Nitto has on there ad.

Miles,

Those are the Moda wheels on your truck. 20's are a must.

Sparky, you have the 3/5 DJM. I would love that on my truck

Between the painted cladding, drop kit, wheels, spoiler and sunvisor people often do not know what the heck they are looking at.

Sparky

What size tires are on your AV? Your truck sits real sweet with the 3/5. I looked at my truck, I don't think I can put that kit on. I have a deep offset on the wheel and the way the front suspension is, I think its going to cut into the inner fender wells because of the big tire. I would love the diamond plate. You are you getting them from?

Jewvalanche - Why yes, those ARE 20" moda wheels on my AV... ;D Also, I have attached another picture of my friends jacked up AV. Tell me what you think? It's certainly the opposite of the 3/5...

Sparky - What type of exhaust are your tunning, looks like single?

That lifetd AV is a tough looking truck. I like that. I wish I had a monster mudder and a street stalker. I have carbon in my Av as well. How crazy did you go with it. I'm going to buy some carbon stuff under the hood from nuimage.

Thanks Skidd!

Thanks jewvalanche!!

I didn't go too crazy... I went with the basic trim kit as well as the center console and all 4 doors. It's not too much, and not too little. I'll take some more pictures soon. My AVs' in the shop for some minor warranty work. You mentioned that you wanted to CF yours too, I just ordered more CF to enhance a few things. Got a great deal @ $15.00 for a sheet of 24 x 15 film. You might want to try eBay as they have these deals often...

I'm now looking at adding the chrome bowtie and then, start the performance mods. (ie exhaust/FIPK etc..)

Jewvalanch -

I viewed your pics, you've got a sharp looking AV! I went with the 20" Brushed Moda R7's... (just happed to like the brushed look.) Man, that brushed fuel tank cover would certainly compliment my rims.

Let me know when you are buying and maybe we can both get a discount. I saw the one the club is getting for a discount, but I'm in favor of the same one you have in your pics... (y)

looks sweet! Mine rubbed till I removed part of the plastic to bend the part of the inner fender (metal) then drilled two small holes to pull the plastic back with 2 wire ties.

Hey Guys, new to the site. ?Glad to see a site dedicated to us that have Avalanches. ?Anyway, here is a pic of what my truck will look like after some photoshop work has been done to it. ?It currently has 22" ELITE Barbs, but the photo shown has 24's. ?It does feature a complete Airbag setup, even with the 4 wheel drive still intact. ?Along with a complete Audio/Video/DVD setup. ?Just curious what you guys think? The link is located above my screen name... just in case, but you guys probably already knew that. LOL. Lata.?

Would look sharp. Be careful dropping that truck with the 24's. The whole truck painted looks sharp. That'smy next step. I happy with my 20's since I do some heavy towing.

Those look awesome Avaho!

24's...Geez, how much are those costing ya? That's as big as you can get isn' t it? I haven't seen anything larger than that.

Sorry to be so long in replying. I'm recovering from surgery and am not on that often. The tires are 295/45 20. However if I was doing it again I would go with 295/50 or 305/45 as it is closer to stock height. Mine are Yoko's and are very wide. You could go to thir web site. They might have the width for this size listed there.
The diamond plate I am getting from a club member. He makes sets as requested/paid for. Search diamond plate and look for Ted.

With the drop kit in place they were only able to put single Flow exhaust on. Pipe is big enough for good size cat to crawl in
