Wow - I really do like these flares and moldings (Suburban). Took long enough for the painter to finish! You can't tell from the pics, but there are some minor paint blemishes - I'll give them another week to harden good, then wet sand them with some 1000/2000 grit sandpaper and polish them out - should do the job.

Now to start prepping that brand new wide-mouth grill I just bought!

Cleargearz transparent diff cover came in today also!!!

I would love to see your clear pumpkin cover

I would love one for my truck if it looks cool

Thanks

Anthony

PS - does the stinky gear oil that gm uses in our trucks have that same green color or is it red?

Thanks

Anthony

I'm not sure the stock oil color. I know some of the synthetics are a nice red color. I won't be able to run synthetic with my Auburn L/S diff though :( . Anybody know a regular, non-synthetic diff oil that is red?

Will be about a month before I can get pics up with the cover on - My diff installer is really backed up and the first appt. I could get to put in my 4.88's and the Auburn is July 26th :8:

side molding was from a dealer, purchased via my neighbor who owns a repair shop and passes on his 25% discount. Was still $353 for the 4 molding pieces

$353?!?!?!

And that's at a discount?

Those appear to be the Suburban pieces. If you search for my old posts on this, I've got the part #s and prices listed, the full set of 4 shoudl be < $200 RETAIL before paint.

Doug - yup, that's how much it was - maybe I should have tried the mail order dealer place.

Thanks for the compliments guys

Painted or bare?

If bare, you definitely need to patronize other "friends". More you save, more you can spend on other cool upgrades!

hey guys anybody know if the GMC yukon XL side moldings would fit?? i am thinking that they would?? just need some verification from you guys...SWATDOC!!! YOU'RE MAKING MY JEALOUS WITH THAT LIFT!! THAT BABY IS SSSSAAAAAWWWEEEEETTTTTT!!! (y) :B:

Someone on here asked me if people would laugh at a lift and custom wheels since his AV was only 2WD. I said go for it but next time I'll just send a link to swatdoc pics. (y)

Rogue - was about 3K including Fox Shox and the CST upper A-arms. Upper arms are optional, but I want to add the dual shock setup in the future, so I got the arms now so the whole mess doesn't have to pulled apart later just to add dual shocks - will only need to bolt on the hoops. The arms added about 400 or 450 to the price.
