Finally Www.chevrolet.com Has The '03 AV!

It must have come out late yesterday, because when Goo put up his pix, I checked and there was old data. ????

There are some pretty cool pix of the new yellow AV in the new gallery, especially with TNF package. (y)

I tried the "build your own" and it appears to still have the 2002 data in there (aside from the colors and there it has both blue's). At the end where they quote you a price it actually says "2002". I'm sure this will be corrected soon.
 
The Build your Own is now working, I build one, the sticker for a loaded Z71 was 39386.00 No DVD, cannot have with the Sunroof!!!!!!!!!!!!

Do you mean you can't afford the sunroof, or they won't let you add it as an option?

Ok we can all go and build or own 2003 on the chevy sight ?then drool. ?then we can all wish we were Goo who got to spend a day with a 2003 ? ?I hear that Goo has been in therapy since that 2003 test drive to try and curb his wanting to go to the dealer and hang out with his new gray metallic friend >:D ;D

you all know that at some point we are going to have to add a link to a site psychiatrist to help us with our anxioties of wanting a new Av everytime a new model year or color or anything comes around..... :eek:

I believe he meant that he built a loaded Z71 WITH the sunroof but he couldn't add the DVD because it is not allowed when you do.
 
Are you sure you built a 2003 model? When I went to the sight I could still only build a 2002 model.

You are right.

I just checked it out.

In the build screens, the new color names are loaded but not the new 2003 options. You cannot change to build a 2003 yet. That means the price quoted above is not accurate for an '03.
 
You are correct, the price I had was for an 02, guess I did not see that thought it was for an 03............

Dayum (thanks ygmn) I hate it when I miss the stuff that I am really interested in! :7: Then I hate it even more when I start a new thread a full day behind this one thinking that I am telling y'all something new. :8: And I really hate when Goo has to spank me and lock my thread because I'm not paying attention..... actually now that I think about it.. about that spanking. ;)

It's good to finally get some official GM information, now a question I cannot find the answer to:

Can anyone tell me if the "select a unit 2" option on the selected option sheet includes the PDH (drivers convienence package) option. We are talking about 2003 models of course.
 
GmBuypower has not updated their site to 2003 av. If someone cna build your own then it was a 2002. If you can when what zip code are you using.
 
The sited recently added a 360' walk around photos of the AV in the "Gallery" section. Allows you to see the AV in different colors, NF, 1500, 2500 etc. Just for info

Well just for the HOI I just tried to build one. I kept getting an error when selecting the "Z71" option and couldn't get any farther. Hope that this either gets fixed or someone else has better luck the myself.

 
What is the WBH- Without Body Hardware option under Trim Level - Merchandised PKG? I thought the claddless version is coming out next year.

WBH will be available early next year.

I found the build screens still buggy.

 
Yea I know. Funny how we know more than most all Chevy employees. I went to the fair a day ago and went straight to the Chevy Truck area. They had a nice dark green '03 AV for me to drool over. Then I went over to the broucher area and asked a person wearing a badge saying, "Product expert" and asked her if they had any '03 AV brouchers yet. She replied, "Ohhhhh let me see.......nope not yet. But there really is no difference between the '02 and the '03.....well except that the plastic thingy is darker". :D: :8:
 
I have a lt. pewter 02 Avalanche and I went and looked at the 03 Avalanche and I did not like that dark cladding with the Lt. Pewter. The audio Controls,better stereo and improved digital A/C & Heat controls was nice.
