Anyone else had the inside of the sealed fog lamps fog up with normal driving(no offraod streams)? On our third from warranty.

YEs.....look in the fit and finish section./....

Very common on 2002 model year trucks

This is a common problem with the 02's. All you can really do is go to the dealer and have them replace it. I replaced mine at least once each, but then I got an SOR bumper, and didn't have to do any more after that.

Mine didn't leak and fog until it was almost 3 years old. I took it thru an automatic carwash for it's first time and the left leaked bad. I guess it was water pressure because I drove thru some deep water a few times with no problem. I finally took it to the dealer just before the warranty expired, while they were replacing them I fell in love with a loaded '04 Z71.

I have a fix that has worked for some others...

I will post up what was done shortly.

I had the same problem, just had the driver side lamp replaced under warranty. Still no tailgate straps though, they obviously arent in any hurry.

I had both of mine fog up and even fill with water on my 02. Both had hairline cracks in the casting between the front lense and the back of the housing in the upper corners closest to the grill. I pulled the housings, dried them out and then applied the liquid silicon that's used for sealing windshield leaks. I've not had in further problems for going on two years.

My passanger side is doing it. The new one is on order through the dealer. No new cables here either. We'll see when the new fog light comes in about the cables.
