A Silverado with sail panels! Maybe a little bodywork and retro real Avalanche taillights there..

A quick application of Line-X before it leaves the lot maybe..

i think it looks ROUGH !  If they are definately calling an end to the cladding, i'm definately gonna have to call an end to getting another Av.  Those look WAY too silverado-ish for me.  If i wanted a silverado, i'd have gotten one.  The Av we got better last for the next 37 years...

no its not a blue oval if you look at it, its a chrome bowtie, trust me my first thoughts were the same as yours

I want two.  One lifted 4x4 with huge tires and a supercharger and one 2wd slammed with a supercharger.  There's a theme here.  If it's a 6.0L even better.

Secret sources tell me that it will be available with ( I don't know if they will be standard or optional ) back-up camera and power locking tailgate integrated into the alarm system.  Think someone is watching this site??

The HondaLanche resembles an Avalanche more than the concept pics above do!

:kidding:

I'll reserve final judgement until I actually see one in person.  Based on the above pics, I'm not expecting to be trading my cladded Av in for one just yet.

Get rid of the BT on the tailgate and smooth/color the sail panels etc. and I like it. Not as well as if my '03 had a Sierra front end though.

I wish my wife would have let me trade her S10 for the loaded '04 rather than trade my '02, we'd have 2 real (read cladded) Avalanches with low miles.

If I see my first AV again I might buy it back, the '07  (n) (n)

I got a question in regards to model year changes for the Avalanche: If the WBH shared the same basic front end design for the past 3 years with the Silverado, and the Silverado front end changed for 2006, why didn't the 2006 Avalanche follow the Silverado?

my guess is since that front end was for the 05 HD they had a surplus so why not try to freshn the trucks also why wait till 06 to offer the 6.0 vortec

The GMT 800 plants are changing one at a time with trucks last, SUVs are cutting '06 run short. They have been tooling for '07 so it would be confusing/wasteful to change. GMT 900 Silverado will be early '08s I think.

I think it looks wimpeed out. There is no real front bumper, the body is about as plain as a GTO. They have ruined the Avavlanche adavntage. The Avalanche came out as an in your face truck. It was big and bold, now it is just another stupid truck (n) (n) (n)

that is a truck?  I don't want a honda I want a truck  glad I got one now .  well no new av for me .  hpoe chevy pulls thier heads out of thier _ _ _ .
