There was a post and picture on Edmunds a while back showing an Av with the front end lifted up an inch or two. Not saying that I really want to do this, but it's an interesting thought. Can anyone find this post, or another site with more details?

You can get that much lift by cranking up the stock torsion bars.., Ive done it on mine.., brought the front up an Inch, and a Half..., Im now clearing 295 B.F.G A/Ts (33.5 inch tall) Tires.., on Weld Stone Crusher Wheels.., It rides a little firmer., but not that much differant, and the front end came right into alinement with no problem.. I did need to do a little trimming on the cladding., and a little massaging of the front wheel wells., not much though., and not noticeable... Butch, Black Z71., Cat back exhaust, Hypertec Power Programmer, Volant intake, tail lite Blackouts, Wood Dash Kit.., still to come.., some cladding painted to match, New stereo.., and a Supercharger.

Butch. I'd REALLY like to see pics of the wood dash kit. I'm thinking about doing it, or blue carbon fiber (I have indigo blue exterior). The wife is DEAD SET against it but I think it would look good, and help break up the sea of graphite plastic in the interior (not that I mind).

I guess I'm getting old...

;)

Im getting old to.., lol... , ill take some pics of it tomarrow, and send them to You., hope they,ll come out good enough to show what it looks like., Im very pleased with it.., although.., some of the pieces did not take well.., so I didn't use them all.., they didn't stick to well to the textured surfaces.., but stuck Great to all of the smooth surfaces.., most of those pieces, about four, or five.., I didn,t want to use anyway.., but , Im going the call the company that made the kit about that problem.., to see what they say.. Other than that, Im happy with the kit.., it was form Exotic Wood Dash Company.., there stie is at (www.exoticwooddash.com)

Instead of a front in lift kit, I would rather lower the rear
end three inches. Does anyone know of a kit?

Now here is a whole new thread - I haven't seen a chopped AV - think you have to do both front and back -like a 2/4 or 3/5 - you may want to search GM-Trucks.com on this issue.

Your in Luck weco..., theres a few c`ompanies doing these drop kits.., and theres an axle Flip Kit., that drops the rear the width of the rear ends axle.... DJM is one company., and Belltec is another.., check with them., Im sure they can tune You up., or Down that is.., ha,ha.....
