Gas fill nozzle shut off problem on 2011 LTZ

All of the sudden, I'm having problems filling my tank with gas, the fuel nozzle shuts off repeatedly, making it take extreamly long to fill my tank. My guess is it is a vent problem, but not sure how to address it. I have gone to many stations and had the same issue, so it is not a pump/nozzle problem. Has anyone had this problem, and if so, what did you do to fix it?

Bad vent valve (not purge valve) or plugged carbon canister, or plugged vent line(s). Mine had a plugged carbon canister when I bought it. Typically caused by overfilling the tank with fuel (getting those last drops in).

Did your's throw a code? Mine does not have a error code, just the problem.

This seems an appropriate place to post this:

I acquired a dash skin & having it shipped to a border receiving location for pickup (Friday) for pickup for The Lady (07 LT).

Given that I keep getting large leak errors (P0455) only when the temperature rises above 7C or when the weather changes rapidly my old school engineer said he was going to blow out my lines for me, but he seems to have retired I am looking to order the evap system parts* & do it myself as the parts are half the price on Amazon (Even accounting for the exchange rate) & pick them up from Montana at the same time.

So my shopping list is looking like:

GM Genuine Parts 22963841 Vapor Canister
I have concerns over cheaper parts & their fitting from the mixed reviews, I only want to do this once & returning incorrect parts across the border will cost me more in time & fuel than its worth saving.

GM Genuine Parts 23481275 Vapor Canister Vent Valve
This or the Dorman which is $10 more expensive (But the Wiring Harness Connector that's included, seems to be hit or miss if it's actually received). Works out the same if I order this & purchase the following.

X AUTOHAUX Vapor Canister Vent Valve Solenoid Jumper Wiring Harness Connector 19257603 Evaporative Emissions Canister Vent Valve Solenoid Jumper Wire Harness.

Any thoughts or validation especially on the cheaper Vapour Canister's fitting.

*Fuel cap & engine bay purge valve already tried

Typically there is no code.. And I agree with @2004Slickside diagnosis. Plenty of resources on youtube. Ask if you want the diagram, but honestly the videos will help more than the drawing/diagram. Not that big of a job to replace.

Smoke test it first to find the problem? Then replace? From my keyboard that seems the appropriate first step, but I admit I'd be tempted to throw the parts cannon at it because you can replace most of the evap system for the price of a smoke machine (or price of tech to diagnose for you)...

Several folks have discussed similar symptoms.

Most often times it is the vapor cannister (on the vent) generally due to age and / or gasoline saturation (due to overfilling) they get 'clogged'. Most often replacement is the answer. I'm sure there are you tube videos giving insight on how to locate and replace it.

We had similar symptoms on my wife's '02 Explorer, however it was NOT the vapor cannister. it was what I call the rollover check valve.. On the Explorer there is a check valve @ the tank from the fill line, so that if it rolls over gas doesn't spill out.

What I did about it:
With <1/4 tank of gas, jacked up the rear of the Explorer as high as I could.
Disconnected the fill line @ the tank.
Reached in with my hand to reset the valve..

Fixed the problem forever.
I don't know how or why it actuated, as far as I know the wife never rolled her Explorer. :D

I am throwing the parts cannon at it, merely as based on the clogged lines issue that only kicks in once temperature rises, while I've got one part out, I may as well do both as per the old adage of do it once (do it correctly).

The Lady is 17 years old at this point, some things do go one for ever, some things don't.

This will be my third summer with this issue & not able to use remote start due to the CEL light, winter fortunately (Super low temps) is when it doesn't come on.

Mine has had this problem for a few years now. I find that if I hold the nozzle a certain way, at a certain angle, it would solve the problem. Weird thing is, I don't always have this problem, some day, some stations, and different level of fuel remaining in the tank all affect whether the issue shows up.

I replaced most parts of evap I could now have extras probably still good parts.
Mine throws p0446 now and rich mixture both banks when fuel tank is 3/4 & lower.

Engine light & codes go off when fill full and stay off until 3/4 tank again.
I replaced both solenoids vent & purge, the purge solenoid I have x3 that seem to operate with limited disconnect electric & wet finger if any vacuum felt.
Canisters both seem dry & non saturated, the evap hoses I replaced as original was cracked at tank top rear connector.
The x3 gas caps I have all seem to not change symptoms switching between them.
I plan to remove spare & take into a shop for help & better troubleshooting.
I have a new fuel pump in box I believe may fix issue but don't want to install until verify that's most likely issue.
Hoping a shop can test solenoids & watch live data to narrow better as I'm still unable to find why my 07 is giving codes.
The floor access door will hopefully save some time & $ if it is newer pump pressure regulator or sensor.
