Gibson Single Swept Side system

Looking for opinions on this system. Is it louder than the stock factory system? I still haven't made a decision whether to get the single swept side or the dual sport. I am leaning towards the single swept side, but I don't want to spend $300.00 if its barely noticeable compared to the stock system. I want to hear some rumble but I'm not interested in a really loud system. Thanks

I also have the swept side system and have very little noise unless under hard acceleration. The rumble is nice outside of the truck though with a good throaty sound, not too loud, but not too soft either.

Im actually looking at the Gibson headers now to open it up a little more and get even more sound out of it and, of course, to also improve performance a little bit as well.

Definitely a recommended buy for the Gibson...

Was it louder, more throaty or just a general decibel increase?

Im getting ready to purchase (but just saw 11H's post on the possible JET-HOT long tubes... may have to wait...) and want to make sure Im satisfied with my purchase.

I have the Extreme Dual and have heard it next to a Single Side Swept. They both have great sound characteristics:

They don't annoy you at idle.
Have a more throaty sound.
Have a very nice roar on kickdown.
Don't increase interior sound on normal driving.

I have had goor experiences with all the Gibson products I have had.

Yellow87, I installed the Gibson, noticed a little louder exhaust note. very quiet inside except for a slight drone around 1500-2000 rpm. Wife complained about sound, gave up and Took it off, reinstalled OEM, sealed both ends of Gibson, hung it up in garage, and its as good as new and available for $150, I'll install it for you if you come to Dallas.
