So... you have an LTZ or LT3? and was able to install the flares from a z71?? ?It looks like it matches up with the front bumper Ok.. somehow I didn't think that it would work out right... Is there a leading edge to match up to on the side of the bumper fro the flare to match up to... or? did you change out the front bumper too? I circled the area I'm asking about.

its a LT3 and you can fit it to the front bumper by loosening the bolt behind the area you circled and slide it out a bit to fit. it looks great and matches very well.

oh another mod was the 4x4 stickers on the rear fender, i had not seen them on an 07 yet, i like them real well too
hope this helps.

thankyou...

ONE THING THAT I want in the truck I buy is the fender flares... that was forcing me to the Z71... or so I thought... Now with this , I have more color options... Question: are those available in stock colors or do they come unfinished?  Also... how do they mount? Tape, clips?

thanks again

Very sharp  Some days I like those and think I want some then I talk myself  out of it cause I don't think they'd look right. Yours look great though, that's a perfect match. Congrats!

they come in black unfinished only, since i paint cars for a sideline it's no big deal. they are bushwacker flares, which they tell me is who makes the factory ones. they are easy to paint, you scrub them with dawn & water with hot water twice first, then depending on your color (i used gray primer) for a basecoat, then sand lightly, paint your base color on then clear.
as for how they fasten on, they use mostly the factory holes and push pins, you do need to drill 4 holes a little bigger than they were from the factory for the new push pins. the only tape was for the molding around the edges.

Awesome! Looks almost as good as mine!  >:D I'll have to tell my brother who I sold my LTZ to about this. But I doubt he'd want to spend the $475.00 I've seen them advertised for plus paint to do it.  :B:

Goatboy, how did you get the flares to mount so flush on the top side of the flare?  For the life of me, I can't get my flares to sit perfectly flush.  There's about an 1/8" gap at the very top beween the rubber and strip and the fenders.

mine just fit perfect, i had no problems of fitment at all, maybe yours are warped? i cant help with that mine were perfect

Forgive my ignorance...but will these mate up to an LS front bumper?
My guess would be probably not...but I thought I'd ask.

Wow, that looks great in that color.

I would think yes.? I believe the LT bumpers and the LS bumpers are the same, just loosen the bolts holding the end and slide it out as he described in the fifth post.
