Might also look at pickuptruck.com and Woodall's Open Road Forum.
Woodall's is absolutely super, with nonjudgmental, helpful folks. Woodall's is basically a towing forum, but the "Towing Vehicles" section is HUGE and there is a great deal of interesting stuff there (even if you never intend to tow). Lots and lots of diesel and HD subjects there.
Actually, I find Woodall's more refreshing than dieselplace because it's not just about modifications, racing and sniveling by the latest guy with a Duramax who bought bad fuel or whose injectors failed.
Woodall's is very similar to the Avalanche forum in that the folks are just trying to help each other. Very positive and upbeat, no flaming and seemingly no trolls. You can tell that I enjoy it.
Not on the subject; if you are an outdoorsy type and love hunting, shooting, fishing and camping, www.24hourcampfire is a killer site. I write for hunting/firearms magazines and contribute a lot in the "Ask the Gun Writers" section (I'm dogzapper).
