So the NOS kit that I won at MCM finally made it to me.  It's a basic kit and I'll need to add a few extras to it (like a remote opener and bottle heater, etc).

For all you experts out there I have a few questions for ya.

First can I mix brands?  Example:  My kit is NOS can I buy the ZEX or Nitrous Express bottle opener for it?

Next question

What add-ons should I get?

Last question
Does this mean I'm in the Forced Induction Nation or do I still need the SC >:D

My prize is still in the mail  :(

Loggie,

Where does this hook into the TB?

Sam

I was looking for which kit this was, could'nt find it, thats why I asked  :E:

I use the ZEX bottle opener with mine. I've had a few issues with it not opening, but I corrected them. You should get a nitrous pressure guage, a bottle heater kit with a pressure cut off and an inline filter. I almost forgot............ a window switch  :beating:

Also you might want to ask Boo where he found his special blue container to mount the bottle :p

Of course you can't forget the blue purge kits >:D

Rick is also correct. You want to make sure the tune is correct and you aren't running too lean. It's not quite as critical without a supercharger or turbo, but still important.

Hey Question to you Guys running Nos. ???

Are you running these with a Controller that is Programable to open at Specific RPM's (I remember on old 70's it was controlled at WOT or with a Button and WOT)

I just saw this yesterday on PowerBlock TV.
It was controlled with a programmer and set to open at like 3200-3500 RPM on a truck they did.

Congrats Loggie cant  wait to hear how you make out. ;)

Yes I use the MSD programable window switch set to come on at 3000 RPM. Anything before 3000 you can backfire and destroy the intake.

congratz, Loggie.  Cant wait to see the install thread and the shopping list.  I already know that the install will be top notch.  I can be sure that when you install it in your 02, it'll work great installed the exact same way in mine.

DON'T FORGET THE MOST IMPORTANT NOS PART!!!!! The Fast in the Furios sytle Purge valve!!! You ain't cool unless you gots a purge valve!!! LoL  :D

About 6"-12" in front of the TB.  I'll be drilling a hole in the intake.

Thanks dude!  This is what I needed.  I've got this added to my list but was just wondering about cross branding and if they work when mixing.

Thanks dude!  I'm not sure if I'm going to do it all myself.  I'll have to see how I feel at the time.  Before I even start, I'm changing all the plugs and wires and looking at a valve and rocker job.  Might even go with new pistons....but we'll see how the funding is going this summer....but you know whichever way I go, I'll have the pix >:D

Bottle open would make things nice. go with the motor style.

many companies to choose from on that one, NX, ZEX, NOS etc.
Nitrous Gauge, Fuel pressure safety switch, PURGE is always cool
