Have you heard?? Curtain Airbags

Here's one I just noticed today....

The curtain airbag ticks ...  I noticed this on the driver side .. It's been going on for a while .. but I figured it was a door rattle or something in the pillar. But, when paying closer attention, I concluded it was something with the airbag making a ticking sound (it comes and it goes)..  Anyone hear anything like that?

Could it be the sensor for the AC in the headliner.  Sounds like a fan ticking?

I really have no idea.  The sound is coming from the top of the pillar (driver side) right behind the stamp on the headliner that says "airbag"

And yes, a ticking sound is what I hear.
