Film Headlight Covers
Does anyone have any experience with this product. headlight protection against rocks and such to keep from breaking lense on headlight/foglight/parklights.
I had the clear gts snap on light covers on my 2000 Z71 and my covers to a hit from a good size rock and did not break my light housing. Was very impressed. A set of those were about 45.00 for all 4. the ones listed above are about 57.00, but compared to having to buy a new housing, the price sounds cheap if it works.
Anyone know anything about this product?

???It's me, zeeya on the post above click on the second link. I don't know why the first link will not open it up, but the second link will.
This is a adhesive film that comes precut to fit all the lights on the front of the AV. It says it comes with a 1000.00 guarantee if your headlights get broke with the film protection on it. just was wondering if anyone had tried it yet before i ordered it. If not i may be the guinea pig for this Mod since i drive so much and have had to replace lights in the past. They are not cheap.

Someone changed the link above, it now takes you to the section that shows you can order the film and cut it your self.
They have it already cut out in 6 pieces that you can buy that fit right on all of the lights of the AV. The link they changed it to does show you what it looks like, but if you search on the site you can find it already cut out. I need to learn how to label it like above,,,,,,,my bad, as my 10 year old would say.

YEAH THE COMPANY SAID WHEN TOO MUCH SOLUTION WAS LEFT BENEATH THE LIGHT SHIELD AND MOISTURE HAS NOT EVAPORATED THIS WILL HAPPEN BUT DOES GO AWAY

Hi, I purchased some of these covers. Part of the instructions say to clean the headlights with alcohol and water combination. Not a problem there, but I noticed that there are small bumps in the plastic of the headlights, did you find this a problem when you installed the covers? thanks!
