I was trying to see if anyone has MODDED there headlights...I have an '03 without cladding and I want to switch the high and low beams (which are on top) with the DRL's/Ambers (which are on the bottom)....... I need the headlights high and lows relocated to the bottom of the grille...? Can anyone help. ???? New fixtures...different bulbs ???

Do people really MOD in here or just buy after market parts ??? I am lookin for a real MODDER... Headlight help...any ideas ???

I've been thinking about these lights for a long time since the projection "angle ring" lights don't put off enough light.

These would still be located at the same stock position on the top........I want to relocate the headlights to the bottom of the grille.....

Never heard or seeing anyone doing  that.  I assume you want to do this because you have a raised truck and the light beam is too high?

Shoulda gotten a cladded Av.  Or maybe trading yours in for one could be a mod... naaa, that would be aftermarket, wouldn't it?  LOL

But seriously, WHY is it that you are wanting to put your headlights below the powerbar on your WBH?

Short answer: the truck is sitting too high  & the local police down there don't like it.

Yes the truck is sitting about 4" to high in the front and yes the police dont like it. . they say they can take my vehicle due to being not a leagally drivable vehicle. . . . .

I did a awesome MOD. . . . A TRUE MOD. . . But it didnt work properly. . .

I put the new Ford headlight bulbs in the DRL and Turn signal light locations. . . just like I wanted . . . . but when I turned them on. . . . after a few short minutes . . the plastic from the lens started to melt. . . to much heat. . . . . it would work perfect if there were a GLASS lens replacement or an aftermarket Assy that has a Glass lens. . . . I was so excited to attempted such an awesome one of a kind MODD and was defeated bu PLASTIC. . . . . . well back to the drawing board. . .

Oh . . . and I am not in such a hurry now. . . I found that if I removed my headlight bulbs and use the Fog light (which mine are Chevy brights). . . then that keeps me below the height restriction. . .
