What is the reason for 1 vs. the other. Circuit City has a flip down with 7" and dvd player for $800. This sounds like a heck of a deal vs the $1400 visualogic headrest monitor. Am I unclear and the visualogic (sp.) actually includes both headrests? All this technology is making my head spin since I don't know anything about this A/V world.

The Visualogic setup is per pair at that price.

The lack of visibility with the flip-down is a great reason to go with the headrests.

A small added bonus is that 03-04 owners lost articulated headrests from the factory. With the Visualogic monitors, you get that back! I just put a set in and received that little surprise bonus.

I put in an in-dash DVD/TV tuner at the front of the console, the two Visualogic monitors and a SOundgate adapter to use it via the stock head unit.

Went in surprisingly well, other than finding a good source for power. The single longest part was gutting the console to the right depth to fit the player in as I wanted. In all, I probably invested 3 hours of installation.
