Hey all,
The heater works great but I'm getting a thumping noise every 10-15 seconds. I can hear and feel it. Sounds like there's a vent thumping shut in the core. FYI, I have the Auto AC system. Any ideas?
It sounds like a air control door to me also. I just can't figure out why it seems to be cycling every 15 seconds. My guess...a bad actuator motor or bad control switch.
Thanks AVid! It just started yesterday and didn't do it during lunch today. I set the heat to 90 with the windows open. The auto setting did turn the fan to Hi but alas.. no thump. We'll see what happens tomorrow morning!
