  i want to get some wheels.  i know i want the tires to be 265/60/18 Nitto Terra Grappler's.  i just don't know what wheel i want.  i thought i had it all figured out until i saw the new Helo 835 wheel.  i think i like it better in chrome & black, but not sure if it would look right on the truck.  help me out plz.

I voted for the maxx6, only because you dont have the maxx8 listed in the pole.


(for those that dont know... You CAN get the maxx8's with a 6 lug pattern)  :love:
 
I vote for the Maxx6.  Too bad you don't have the Maxx6 Black as an option.

For Helo's though, I really like the guns:

Punisher....I have never been a fan of black rims...it looks like a dirty rim to me....but those Black and Chrome 835 might be the first black rims, that I truly like.
 
I think the 835 black would look good on just about anything.

  actually you can get the Maxx8's with an 8 lug pattern, and the maxx6's with a 6 lug pattern.  i know what you meant.  this is for those that did not.

  it does. >:D  i don't think it would look good with a DBM AV though.  how do you use that Photoshop thing?  i see people doing different things with it to see if a mod/ color would look right on their truck.  i have never used it before.

Hmmm...your link shows the Maxx8 with 8 lugs...
even your quoted description says "16x8, 8 on 6.5 / Bolt Pattern"
It would be a first if someone has a link to a Maxx8 (eight spoke) with a 6 on 6.5 lug pattern... :eek:

Just a year ago when I was looking for wheels with SOME black on them there were not many out there. Oh sure you could get the MOSTLY black with the polished or chrome lip but I did not want that much black........now I see loads of nice looking wheels with just SOME black on them! I like those first wheels.........but I still like mine so I am keeping them.

If you can't decide between black and chrome, why not have both?

My are Giovanna Caracas', they have a six and five spoke design.
The black caps (very hard, very shiny type of plastic) can be removed, to reveal the chrome wheels underneath.
I don't have pics without the caps, but the net does.
I looked long and hard for a set of black and chrome wheels, and i get a ton of compliments on them.  Yesterday a guy on a motorcycle pulled up next to me at a light and said 'man i like those wheels, that's tight'

? ?hate to tell you this, but what you meant is incorrect, still.? the website is right, however you are interpretting what is on the screen wrong.? when they say, "8 on 6.5...", what they mean is 8 lug bolt pattern with 6.5 inches measured from one lug to the one furtherest away from it.? which is how spacing is determined for any lug pattern.? you measure from center to center, or center to edge, depending on number of lugs.

? ?to further prove this theory go to the Maxx6 wheel and it says, "6 on 5.5".? using your theory that's saying that the Maxx6 will fit a 5 lug wheel.? not!!? try again.

good point about the blue with black wheels,  i don't know either.
in my case, was very easy decision, once i saw those, and i looked forever before making up my mind. very very hard to make a decision from internet wheel pics isn't it?
i like the 835 chrome center black rim a lot, very different from other wheels, just not sure how the wheel would look with a black tire on it, kind of take away from the black rim too much, not show the rim enough???
