Help me find orange Z71 WBHs on the east coast

Help me locate the perfect Av.

We just got word that our home refinancing is approved, so now we can seriously consider buying an Avalanche instead of looking. We didn't need a new truck loan on our records while the refinance companies were investigating us, so the new vehicle purchase had to wait.

What we want is a Sunset Orange (1st choice) or Arrival Blue (2nd choice) Z71 WBH. Roof rack, trailer towing, bench seat, and the fender flair/side moulding are wanted. The perfect combination is copied below for a Dark Green Metallic (3rd color choice) WBH that I have found, and may buy if we don't find orange or blue.

I have really gone through GMBUYPOWER with zip codes covering Maryland, Delaware, Pennsylvania, and New Jersey and only found the perfect truck in the green.

So, if anyone sees a new 2003 orange or blue Z71 WBH reasonably close to Delaware please let me know where to find it.

SOM is a very popular color. It might be hard to find a leftover SOM 03. It's a longshot, but you might try going to a dealer and have him check on the in-transit inventory. This is not shown too often on GMBuyPower.

You also might want to consider ordering an 04 in the new Orange when it comes out in January. You would also get the improved hydroboost brakes.

The local dealers, at least the salemen I've talked to, were more interested in clearing out their stock instead of looking for trucks to trade.

I was looking for a 2003 due to the good rebates that aren't available on the 2004s. Who knows if the $4000 rebates will come back if the economy gets better.

Just how much better are the hydroboost brakes likely to be?

Sorry dude, I just bought it last week! I have a few more options than the truck you quoted, but it's close. Try long island. I drove past my dealer (Performance Chevrolet) and they had another SOM WBH on the lot. I'm sure about the options, but it might be worth a call.
I really beat up this dealer, they gave me a great deal. If your interested, send me a message and I'll give you my salesman's name.

Just remember one thing in 2004 the SOM is gone they have a new orange called Sunburst Orange and is a more orange

You may want to try Ramp Chevrolet in Port Jefferson, NY (Long Island). ZIP code is 11776. According to GM Buypower, there are two blue WBH's in stock. Good luck!

There's been some unscrupulous manipulation of the bond market and money supply. The people that are profiting from the depressed economy don't want things to change. So, I wouldn't expect the economy to get better anytime soon.

Someone that owns a 2500 (with hydroboost brakes) that has also driven a 1500 could tell you the exact difference. But it's proported to be at least a noticable improvement.
