HELP NO START

hi  need some help have 02 80,000 miles  and it just died 
i used a scaner  and it showd no codes or faults  and i just changed the fuel filter
it cranks and it started  after i changed it but then died  have all dash lights
my be ignition switch

I believe the filter has a check valve in it....be sure you installed it in the right direction.

Do you have an '02 2500 w 8.1? If so you are probably having a crankshaft position sensor issue. Look in to the thread titled "8.1 just died". Many such as myself have and are wrestling with this problem. There is more to tell, but verify that you have an 8.1 first and read the information already posted.

sounds like air in the system, i believe there's a schrader valve up on the fuel rail

And forget everthing else I said. If it's not an 8.1 you do not have the sensor problem I mentioned.
